Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Green Charter Township Hall (see address above)
In this workshop you will learn to identify common invasive plants in your landscape, woodland, wetland and habitat areas. Information will be provided on treatment options along with native plant alternatives. Speakers will be natural resource experts from the Forestry Assistance Program (FAP), North Country Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (NCCISMA), and the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP). All will be on hand to help you identify what invasives are in your specific landscape, what natives would make good replacements, and offer a landscape design to meet your needs and specifications. Conservation District seedling and native plant order forms will be available to help get you started.Don't miss this opportunity!
